I have a 06 mustang v6 with 41,xxx miles it is a automatic. Anyways only some times when i start it takes longer than it needs to like the starter hangs for a second. The battery as far as i know is fine. Ive heard about the parasite radio draining the battery but i turn my radio off when i turn off my car.

I've read about how bad the alternators are on GT's but i dont know if they use the same ones on the v6. Like i said it only happens every other day or sometimes it doesnt happen for a week. Its at random times which doesn't make since to me.

Sounds like the battery to me. IF its the original then it may be coming time. :)

Yes it is original battery. I've had it since 2006 so i guess it is going to need a battery soon, what are the best kind of batteries for these cars?

I ended up with another Motocraft because the off brand (battery source) would not fit right. Had to stop fumble fingers in mid stride trying to force the one in mine. but have heard of others using Red Top brand. :)

Good brands would be Interstate or Optima, but they come with a price and I don't know if Interstate makes batts for our cars actually... other than that the Motorcraft one isn't bad, justs dies in a couple years is all :p but we do have a lot of electronics...
