Anyone put the steeda hood on their ride? How difficult was the switch? I'm tired of looking at that huge flat piece of metal on my stang :notnice: Planning on switching hoods as soon as possible. Anyone have any pics of the hood on their ride

It was a direct bolt on for me. Great quality and fit.

I didn't do any motor mods until 3 years/ 36k miles. I did do body, suspension and interior. I did not want any issues with my local dealer.

So, I do not have the cold air kit as it requires a tune.

The hood pins are Mr. Gasket as they are long enough and bolt to the radiator support without any welding.

The hood came with washer nozzles and tube. you will need a union to connect the hoses together. This is the $2 part I keep forgetting to pick up at the parts store.

Yes, direct from Steeda and it arrived with no problems. Remember that it will come truck freight.

I have the Steeda CAI w/Xcalibrator & SCT 87 Oct. Tune. It runs great. Its an auto. and it chirps second gear with WOT. You can swap the intake and tune back to stock in about 10 minutes for trips to the dealer.
