How does a stock Overboost bell work? I know it should cut on around 17-18 psi but how does it know what boost you're at to sound the bell? Does the Stock boost controller trip the bell once its at 17-18 pis

Well, there is a vacuum/boost line going to it so it knows itself...

Thats right...Thanks :nice: I was just thinking about running it for a while to make sure I got everything working right with the new boost valve. It want be above stock boost until I get a FMIC anyways. I just hope the boost bell connector is the same on my TC parts car since someone cut it off the ole SVO.

Is there a way to disconnect that such as unplugging the vacuum line going to it if you want to run 19 or 20 psi? Just watch out for what you're doing to the car though?

Ya. Theres a one wire connector under the hood on the psg side. Its near the EGR solenoid. Just pop it off and no buzzzzzzzz
