Do I need to upgrade the springs if I get a hotter cam? can the stock valvetrain take abuse from 7500-8000rpms with a raised rev limit?

Stock springs are only good until about .450 lift. Some will say .475 lift. You will have valve float at 8000 rpm with stock springs no matter what.
