Stock wheel size?

    Hi all,

    I have a 2004 Mustang GT with the stock ugly, gray painted wheels. Are these 17x8 in size? The reason I ask is that I would like to get the polished '02 Cobra wheels that I have seen on a few web sites and they are 17x8. Since the car only has 3,000 miles on it I would like to get the cobra wheels and just swap the stock tires that I have now onto them.

    Stock GT's are 17x8 so you could just swap tires, By the way i think you mean 2001 Cobra's wheels, because there are no 2002 Cobra's

    those are also the premium wheels on the 03-04 gt's

    Cool, thanks for the info. I don't know why they call it a 2002 Cobra wheel but what they list as the 2003 Cobra wheel is similar but has the spokes set out on the edge of the rim and they also say it is a 17x9.

    No idea why they have an '02 wheel if there was no '02 Cobra :shrug:
