Stock wheels tire size for 2002?

That's all I need.
Yes I did a search and found a lot of other tire questions/worries answered, just couldn't find the stock numbers.

the wheel is a 15" rim, the tire should be 225/65 R 15. I have a 2000 with the stock A, or 6 spoke, rims.

I thought that, by 2002, 16" wheels were standard on V6's... but I could be wrong.

Maybe you should try going to tirerack.com or tires.com and seeing what tires they suggest to replace the originals. Usually, they know the original size.

I'm surprised no one on here that knows has replied. Maybe someone could just walk outside and look, but I don't have the 16"s that came on my 2000 anymore, so I can't.

stock was 15, you could get 16's. I dont believe that changed until 05, but i could be wrong

Yeah I know I could go to TireRack but those are what could fit. And I have done that.

I was curious about the STOCK equipment and if mine was.

Glitch is correct, my 02 stang comes with 16", and that is stock, from 2002+...

My '03 has 16"

1999 - 2001 base model came with 15's ( the 3 spoke triangle things), 16's were an option, (the 5 spoke pony wheel) ... 2002 - 2004 the 16" pony wheel became standard .... that is how I have always known it.
