Im still learning everything here and I have some questions about stroker kits. I dont totally understand what you are doing when u make ur 302 into a 347 stroker motor. Are you just boering over the block to a certain degree and then puttting in larger pistons and crankshaft? If I wanted to turn my 302 into a 347 stroker what would I need to do and what would I need to buy ?? What is a average spennding price when ur all finished? I found a dss 347 stroker for 1000$ what else would be needed? ... Just learning here so any information would help me alot. Thanks

Oh and what kind of power could I be looking at with a 347 stroker motor?

    thanks a lot

For a stroker, you need a new crank rods and different pistons. The power that you make depends on your induction components

for a stroker it isnt "neccessary to go .030 over or whatever. But sometimes it is required if the cylinders are not in the best of condition
