Sorry i'm fairly new to the forum and just bought my first mustang. I'm just trying to follow some of the treads and they talk about "axel-back" and "cat-back" exhausts. what exactly does that mean? is it just the back end of the exhaust beyond the mufflers?

    thanks

Axle-bak is the exhaust from rhe rear axle to the tips, including the mufflers. A catback is the exhaust from the catalytic converters to the tips.
