I have a 91 convertible and want to know what kinda box would go good in there. I have 2 12 rockford fosgates I like sealed boxs for there tight sound (not tight as in cool tight you know what I mean ) Just wondering what others have done.

The problem I had with my 99 vert was building a box big enough to have some decent volume, but small enough (or as it turned out oddly shaped enough) to fit in through the trunk opening. We're kind of hampered by not having the rear seat pass through like coupes.

I haven't done 12's, but offhand I'd say you're better off building two smaller enclosures than one large one. Perhaps you could attach them with a baffle after they're in there.

As for ported vs sealed, you're probably better off with sealed boxes. They require about half as much volume as ported boxes.
