Hey guys, i am in the market for some subframe's, and was wondering if i should go with the Maximum Motorsport full length ones or maybe just build some of my own??...(they look fairly easy to build)>...What does everyone think??...Any opinions or experiences would be greatly appreciated...thanx
The MM full length sounds like the plan to me. I am going that route very soon. Look at the instructions on the site they have. You may be able to build it yourself, but it would not be worth the effort. Just buy the things. I am putting them in myself, if I can hook up with this guy who has a mig welder. Welding is one of my strong points.
I have MM full lengths. They aren't just connecters, they are actually subframes. They go from the firewall to the torque boxes, and even have a block that goes between the subframe and the tq box, hard to expalain. They take more effort to install, and may require a little bending. I had mine installed at a Mustang Shop, Mustang Services in Marietta, GA, and they said they were the beefiest, strongest subframes they had ever installed, but also the hardest to install. They charged $60 to install not knowing what was up, I tiped the guy and extra $20 for doing such a good job and not being a dick about it.
