I want to get an amp and either one really big sub or two smaller ones. I want to put them on the right side of my trunk so it will be like a battery relocation mod. Could you guys post some pics and recommend a sub set up. I have a kenwood deck and all the speakers have been upgraded.

    my car is 2001 gt

What do you mean by 'really big sub?' IMO 15s sound way too sloppy, I prefer the accuracy of 10s. I bet a single 12 would be enough for you, unless you really love booming bass.

I've owned 15's, 12's, and 10's. Anything from Orion DVC XTR 2's to JL 12W6's to Kicker Comp's and Kicker XPL's. I have always preferred the sound of 10's. Nice tight bass and plenty of boom if you get the right setup.

I went with 2 10's.... more output than one 12 or 15 but much tighter, and they augment the satellites better for mid-bass.

What are your intentions for the sub? Just to have better quality of music? then one 10. If you want to have the loudest car at school, Get a solo-barick or 2.

You can go many ways depends on how much money you want to spend and what you want to get out of it. Depends on how much power you want. Kicker l series are loud. An alpine type r or x will pound. They sound clear and crisp.
