Are you talking about a Rear Seat Delete with Subs? Or just putting a box back there with subs facing towards the front behind the rear seat? Alpine's should work fine...just don't hook up a crappy amp like a Pyramid or Jensen...heh.

    I got kicker's in mine..heh...that sounded like a redneck...."kickers"...heh.

Sounds like a good deal. Yeah, I have my subs facing the front and I leave the seats down most of the time. The system is a hit at shows, and not many people have their systems facing the front.

think there is any particular reason? if i put a sub in my car (which i plan on doing very soon) i am getting a custom box... like this one here
    Mustang Box
i have an amp already in line for it... an Alpine 2/1 Channel Amp... it may not be the optimum amp for the aplication, but it worked well in my brothers car, and he got a new amp some time ago (He still has the same sub he had, but got a more powerful sony amp) and gave me this one (yay, freebie!) Its in pretty tuff shape, scratches and the like, but i think i can 'hide' it... Muahahhah!

I picked up a discontinued Bazooka 10" at work with a 300Watt Digital Audio amp. Sounds pretty good IMO.

I just bought one off of Ebay a few days ago and I just got it today. I plan to install it in the next couple of days. If anyone is curious, I will post how it turns out. I like the woofer that came with it, its pretty kewl looking. Here it is unwrapped out of the box. :nice:

MTX has really good stuff, and when you buy a sub in one of thier enclosures, you know you have the airspace right for the sub. Cant go wrong with that. I plan on building a custom box for (whatever subs i end up getting to replace my 2 blown 600 watt subs :p) im going to have them facing foward. Im going to try and make it to where the subs are sitting up against the seat with enough clearance for them not to hit anything when they pound thier hardest. and the back of the enlosure will be flush with the trunk to where when you open the trunk there isnt just a box there. I know it will be a waste of space, but can you really fit much in the mustang trunk when you have subs in there anyway?

I assume you bought it from the same vendor, Chingon , considering that the only one i can find that is selling it... they state you get the "Xtant" sub with the box... are they lieng and sent you the cooler but supposedly not as high quality MTX one?
or did you buy it from another vendor and i am wasting my time? lol

Individual ebay seller that listed one he purchased but never used and selling for much cheaper. It came loaded with at MTX Thunder 6000 Series 10" woofer. Waiting on a mono bass amp right now to power it. Should be coming in the mail soon.
