supercharged 2.3?

    Has anybody ever tried or is it even posible to supercharge or procharge a 2.3L mustang?

    A couple people have done it...far as I know they used the supercharger from a Super Coupe.

    Generally it takes a lot of fabricated parts to make it all work, and the results are generally not as impressive as a turbo swap.

    And, you still need forged pistons if you want to go over 7 psi either way.

    Yes, it is possible to fit a Rootes or a centrifugal blower, but there is going to be a lot of fabrication involved with either.

    The problem with 2.3s is that the induction is a bottleneck and making worthwhile power usually requires more boost than those blowers are happy producing.
