I just installed my new SCT chip that Don sent me for my new engine combo. My question is about my OLD chip. It was in the car when I bought it. All I know about it, is the Rev limiter is gone, or out of sight with it plugged in. So great for the gears/tranny shifting problems many have. Other than that, I know nothing other than - in the past everyone told me to NEVER spray nitrous on an unknown chip for a stock engine. Well, I did successfully for 6-7 years. Anyway the chips is Blue. Was duct taped into the computer as it sticks out the back. It has the following information written on it: 06/21/99 - W4HO.E2S - 589 That's it, that's all I know. Will any of this get more information about it? I would think it's worth something to an AODE owner. Oh, and yes I've emailed them.... I'm just impatient.
I got a reply... this is all it says: Mustang 5.0L 1986-1995 1100 & Code Requires Programming +18HP +24ft/lb I don't think this will make a good ebay ad.
