heres a very simple question (which i dont know the answer to). if i drop 2" front and rear will i need a camber kit? Also how much trouble am i in (as per the law) if i swap out the stock steering wheel with the airbag for a racing wheel.

You need new c/c plates for a 2" drop. The stock c/c doesn't have that much room for adjustment.

And I may be mistaken, but I don't think there are any laws that say your car must be equiped with airbags.

Airbag laws are more manufacturer side rather than consumer side.

But if you're in an area where police are really cracking down on street racing, expect to be given a hard time. Also, in some areas, there is a minimum allowed ride height for street driven vehicles. If your car fails to meet that ride height, it gets impounded.

I lied about the airbag. Check with your local laws. In my state, it's a $5,000 fine if you remove an airbag from a vehicle that came equiped with airbags.
