So what are the mpg Numbers on these cars, Horsepower#'s, 1/4 times and should i get one or should i just go with the old faithful 5.0. i have plenty of time to make this decsion because i'm in Germany for the next few years. Thanks
84-85 had 175hp and I believe 240ft. the 85.5's had 205 and the 86 had 200hp, I forget the torque ratings for these years.
It was 175hp/210tq for the '84-'85, 205hp/248tq for the '85.5, and 200hp/240tq for the '86. However, the '85.5 and '86 are mechanically identical, and the numbers were fudged so the 2.3L wouldn't have a higher hp rating than the 5.0L, which was down to 200hp for '86.
