SVT registry?

    Hey guys, back in 1995 I bought a lightning and a few years later ended up selling it. i still have the numbered certificate that came with the truck and would like to try and find the current owner to get it to whomever that may be. Is there a way to put the number of the truck in somewhere on the web to find he owner or a place where i can be found to be contacted for it?

    Nope, I don't believe such a registry exists (ie - one that provides contact/owner information). You should try posting over on the NLOC message board - it would probably be your best bet IMHO.

    If you get the VIN to someone on here who has access to free CARFAX reports, they should be able to run it and at least tell you where it is currently registered.

    Ok. I do have the VIN being that it is on the certificate and will also look to post it on the site mentioned above. Anyone have a month of Carfax to help me out? Also get this cert to the rightfull owner?
