I have finally got my 87tc-91lx swap runnng, however, something still isn't right. I adjusted the throttle body and what not, but at around 2500 rpms to about 3000 it goes flat. It also is running very rich, it doesn't seem like its getting enough air. Also, my oil and temperature guages aren't working, I went and checked the pinout voltages at the computer and they all seem to be in order unless i have overlooked something. but if anyone could shed some light on any of these problems your help would be greatly appreciated

I just did the swap too, some of my problems were the oil pressure and temp. The connectors to those are just about the same looking on mine (85TC-90LX) never tried them to see if they fit on the different plugs though. I bought a mechanical oil pressure guage and it shows my oil pressure just fine.

Try switching the two plugs for to OP sending unit and the temp sending unit, maybe they are just completely swapped around.

Thats my $.02 now give me my $.98 in change :D

I tried to switch them around and that really didnt do anything, but my father thought it would be a good idea to do as you suggested and get a manual oil guage. wut did you do about tha temp? and you wouldn't happen to know anything about the throttle problems i explained would you? thanks for your response, any help is greatly appreciated

Put your 91 oil pressure sender on the turbo motor and the oil gauge will work (if it worked before the swap).

    Scan for codes...
