So I'm trying to figure out a system for a autocross car (86 LX) that will be driven to and from the track. I would like some tunes for the drive but I am trying to keep the weight down. I am going to make the sub box and AMP rack removable so I can pop them out at the track. I have that all figured out. I have all this stuff sitting in my garage from my previous Mustang. I was thinking about running everything off the MP3 player to make a simple install without needing a head unit. Opinions on running a setup like this?
It can be done easily. All you need is a stereo jack to rca adapter you can pickup at any electronics store. Then just plug one end into the mp3 player and the rca's into the input on the amp. Viola!~
