Well, as some of you may remember I blew out 2nd gear on my 3650. I ended up finding a T-56 that a guy had bought and never put in his car and went to work. Install was a pain but after a few days of work my friend and I had it in. Not too shabby for a guy that can't even legally drink. :nice:

i did an auto (4L60E) to T56 swap in my LT1 Z28 car, THAT was a pain in the ass. Drilling a hole in your firewall and mounting a pedal assembly that wasnt meant to be on your car. So i can sympathyze with you man...

I feel your pain and as such congrats! (ALthough i bet it wasnt as painful as when we had to put the toploader back in the mach1 after an engine swap, without any tools.) Yeah it took about 3 months, matching up the bolts, the clutch, etc. Tranny's are a ****
