anbody seen an 05-06 with t-tops? The car just looks like it would fit perfect like an old 83 or so. Love to see some pics somewhere its just a thought for the future ever since my 90 TT 300Z i can't get enough of t-tops.

If i wanted all the extra road noise and thought that someone could just walk up and cut through the top for no good reason but likes the way it sounds that suggestion would be the best i ever heard, BUT I DON'T. Although i do enjoy riding in other people's verts when i'm in the mood for the wind in my hair. I also want the tops so that i can pull the screens out if wanted and let a little light in or not when i don't. Still can't find any pics though.

    T Tops

I'll be honest with you. I remember the cars with T Tops and they sucked. Why do you think nobody builds them any more? They all leaked and the T Tops really cut into body strength. They suffered cracking from the engine torque. The new 'Stangs have a 3 layer top and trust me, there is no road noise-my '06 is as quiet as a coup. As for somebody cutting the top, doesn't happed that often and that's why you pay insurance. There is NOTHING like crusing with the top down. I've owned 6 convertibles since 1964 and never had the top vandalized. I wasn't trying to be a smart a$$ but a 'vert is the way to go.

this has been covered before, a search would answer your questions. the glassback roof should show you that the majority of the structural integrity of the 05 roofline is in the side panels. no way could you safely convert it to t-tops.
