I have been thinking of a Chain like that and Barbwire to go with it for a while but I dont know if I will end up with it. My buddy says I need to get a matching Superman on the other arm but make it Bizzaro one for a Yin and Yang effect.
As a tat artist myself...I would have to say that you shouldn't tip him, cuz you're overpaying him in the first place.
+1 my ex-wifes b/f is a tat guy and he does mine for free (guess he is tanking me for dumping her) but he bought his ink and owns a studio so he is all free and clear on the overhead except for the building. He charges a lot for his work and laughs all the time saying he is stealing everyones money.
