It's almost done!!!!!!!!! I can't wait. Motor is on the K member and new motor mounts on, as well as the LDC cooling mod on my DS head. I can't wait to hear this baby spark up. This thing is going to rock, with stage 2 Crowers, P-1 @ 10 psi, forged rods, pistons and all that good stuff! At least I'll get some cruising in this year. PUMPED DOESN'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO HOW I'M FEELING RIGHT NOW!

UPDATE,

Motor, Tranny, Headers, D.shaft, are all IN the car
Some of the blower plumbing has been modified.

I'll let you know how it sounds

If you were at Jesse's shop that would be my hotrod. It's been a lonnnnnnngggggg haul but I'm happy she's almost done. Jesse just told me that she's a running unit right now. And I don't think that I'll make this weekends races, but the last races of the year, I'll be there cause this thing should give me a 12 or so if I really try.

IT' DONE. I go to Calgary to get it either Monday or Tuesday. It'll be like driving a brand new car again. Jesse told me that at about 45% throttle and 4500 this thing pulls! Can't wait to get her back to her home.

Yup it's Wednesday, I'm home and the car is still at Jesse's, we're having issues with my wiring harness I think. So Jesse didn't want it to leave the shop until it's 100%, So, Jimmy waits til the 15th of Sep. to hopefully take her home; finished and ready to burn the s$*t out of the crappy back tires! Don't get me wrong I heard her run man, IT SOUND WICKED!!!! And I don't know if I can wait another two weeks! The Crowers sound nice but I can't wait til she's leaned out a bit and I can hear the slight lope of them at idle.

Damn, I was really hoping for you, a whole friggen year in a shop . That sucks . We'll see it out in the Spring. I can't wait to see you roasting the tires in that baby. Mine still isn't perfect either, I'm gonna fiddle with it over the next few months, think I have a bad lifter.

Well, tomorrow I go to Calgary to test drive the car. Jesse told me that the problem only occurs at idle but as the throttle is opened the problem corrects itself on its own. Anywayzzzzzzz THIS IS GOING TO BE THE FIRST TIME I CAN DRIVE THE CAR SINCE JUNE 05, so wish me luck that nothing bad happens. It'll stay in Calgary so that when I come to bring it home it has a good tune in it and I can see max. power and RPM.

12's here I come! Now I need some 10.5's and 315 DR on the back! She's not tuned yet but I drove it and its wild! Jesse took me for a spin and warned me about the clutch (its either on or off) chirps the tires and grabs hard. This is gonna be fun to play with next year. I'll be able to drive it some this fall before snow but that's OK cause it's ALIVE! It was fun trying to drive it when the idle hangs at 2000 rpm and the clutch just doesn't slip at all. She's gonna be wicked at the Hat next year. I gonna figure about a 12.6 for now but there will be a lot more left in her. NOW SHE'S THE LITTLE RED ROCKET!
