    it hasn't gone too far.

Stinger and I spent my spring break sanding and painting it. Due to my time being cut short to work on it we basically prepped and painted the car in 4 days and there were 120 dents or dings that needed attention.

    Huge thanks to Stinger!

Its still not put all back together yet as I have quite a bit left to actually finish the complete color change.

Thanks. I think it will make a great daily driver again. It will soon have 300k on the clock, run 11's and should still be damn near 30mpg which is where it was before I parked it.

I was shooting for that plain ole easy to paint and maintain look that I've never really had in a mustang.

Ha if you go through all the painstaking effort we went through to prep it. I would certainly spray it for you...thats the easy/fun part.

An honest opinion would be to do some insane prep work and use primer sealer. Then just get the Maaco embassador paint job for $200.

Well the problem is that the paint really needs to be stripped off most of the car...besides the fact that it's apparently got three coats of paint on it, the clearcoat is peeling off the roof and a couple other small places, and the paint is bubbling in several areas on the roof, hood, trunk lid, and fenders. :notnice: It also needs some body damage fixed on the driver's side.

    sigh.

Too much friggin' work for somebody that does not like body work.

Thanks. I was going for the nice plain clean look. I'm really not much on clear taillights but those or smoked with clear corner headlights will probably all work well together.

Red: If you get all the crap off of it the sealer primer and urethane paint works wonders.

Lord of uh, hmm what was it again?
    Respirator????? (sorry had too)
What did you shoot it with? SS I imagine.
And I say Resp is a good idea, one of my buds that was a body guy died due to lung paralasis due to no resp and he was shooting some iso's.

I will be shooting my Cobra in the next week or two, got it all edged and I must say I forgot how much fun it is to use flattener.
