Thinking About Getting A Crossbow

First of all ...Who all of yall made fun of my target thang :fuss: Worked like a charmo_O hardest part was pulling the arrows out :rlaugh: Ok , marked of a true 50 feet from my forklift to the target . IMG_0200.webp It took about 60 shots to try to sight the crazy thing ,finally gave up and put on red dot. IMG_0201.webp

Just a few shots and i had it very close .There was two length arrows /bolts that came with it ,2 - 18 inch and 6-20 inch .The 20 inch are the ones you want ,much more accurate for some reason .Out of eight shots, 4 clipped the bulls eye ,two were slightly high and the two short arrows were the highest ,but just look at that grouping ,did i mention this was into a head wind?

A little more screwing with the sights and i could split arrows with it ,
already dented the sides of a couple ..
This thing is sweet but go with the red dot ,the stock sights are not that great ,and also go with the 20 inch arrows /bolts as well. I would be willing to bet that the carbon fiber arrows /bolts will be a lot more accurate than these aluminum shafts also .

Look at the marks on the left side of the target in the first pic,as i sighted it i shot two arrows each time for reference .you can see each time i moved the sights ,they are stacked in twos . Sights were way to the left when i started ,surprised at how accurate this thing is .

Nice groupings! Glad your target is working for now, but you can see they're going almost all the way in. As mentioned before, the middle will wear out eventually. You can help avoid that by making some more "dots" around the circle. ;)

That's what the cross lines are for ,but i guess i will get a target .I need to get some wax as well .

I let the string slip through my fingers at full stretch ,thought it ripped the skin off it burned so bad :fuss:.WILL NOT DO THAT AGAIN. It actually cocks real easy ,just have to make sure it locks .

soap your arrows first. The cheap stuff you get at a hotel is actually the best. Helps stop the arrows and it's easier to pull them out as well. Try and grab some unscented stuff though so if you use the same arrows for hunting your prey doesn't pick up on it.

And yeah, those suckers are almost all the way through. Another 2-3 times with that target and you're going to be losing arrows!

Lost three arrows ,but not because they went through .One i hit dead center ,and two hit in the side and creased and bent them .Red dot sight is the way to go .
I shot the two bent arrows into a 4x4 just to see how deep they would go .Buried the tips completely and about 1 inch passed ,i tried to pull them out but that was not going to happen .

You aint gona believe this ,cause i don't :rlaugh:UPS drives up in my yard with a package ,I am down back and don't make it to the house before he leaves .On the porch is a box ,i open it and it is a brand new crossbow :scratch:What the frak, i didn't order another one .It is the exact one i ordered and received last week. Was this a two for one Sale?:rlaugh:If its free its for me

Please video the first 3 shots... I think there's a chance a bolt from a 150# bow will breeze right through that.

Keeping that in mind (possible misses), make sure there isn't something expensive behind the target. ;)

I agree with Ronin38. I'd like to see the first few shots on the Styrofoam. Bet it was exciting! LMAO!!!
