Im thinking about selling or trading my 87 mustang GT. It has a rebuilt engine and rebuilt T5 with under 1500 miles. I am currently doing some minor body work right now so it should be straight when Im done except some areas will be in primer. It is black with black and gray interior. Interior is decent. Some rips in headliner but the rest can be cleaned up. Engine and engine bay look very clean and painted. Turbine wheels. K&N. Mass Air. 3.55. Lowered.
How much do you think I could get for it?
I am also thinking about trading for a classic mustang (64-66) or a newer one (maybe a modular) but will probably need to pay extra.

Needs paint the no more than $3,000. No one wants a primered car. I sold my 89 lx 4 years ago with a new engine 1,500 miles. New trans t5z 500 miles rebuilt rear and tons of bolt ons for $3,300. Paint all matched but it was a cheap job. No one wanted it with poor paint.

Yea, at this point and time its getting really hard to sell a stock older mustang. I dont think I would pay more than 3500 for a really really clean, stock 90ish GT. but I am picky, so a car that needs paint, and has only a decent drivetrain is not going to bring home too much bacon... But thats just me
