I just installed the BBK CAI, throttle body, and TB spacer. The problem is even with the cable bracket entension, the cruised control cable is too tight and holds the throttle open. So as soon as the car starts the rpm's jump up to the limiter. Besides just leaving the cruise control cable off, any ideas on how to rectifiy the problem?
I know the cure. Return the TB spacer! They have been dynoed proven to NOT increase hp or tq on these motors at all. On a carbed motor where it spaces the carb up higher they work because the fuel and air get mixed better but on motors that are injected it doesn't mix anything.
