Can you get a throttle body spacer for a 2.3? If so what kind of difference does it make as far as power and mpg? my dad has one on his blazer and he got a 15% increase on mpg and an extra 15hp. just wondering. Thanks in advance for the help

If you even can, don't bother.

I find it hard to believe your dad got 15 hp AND 15% fuel economy from just a spacer...

then what would be some bolt ons that i can get fairly cheap. I'm looking to get some power but only have about 400-500 to spend on the motor

Haven't we been over this? Bolt ons don't do much. Throttle body spacers especially just seem like a waste of money to me.

Do an intake and have a muffler shop make you a cat back exhaust or something...otherwise, you're not gonna find anything cheap that does much.
