Thumping noise from front end

[GT40 2]

I've got this intermintent thumping sound coming from the front end of my 89. It kind of sounds like a bad tire.

I can only hear it at speeds above 35mph, and It goes away when I step on
the brake. I'm wondering if the lower ball joints could be the cause of it, my car has almost 220k on it.
