Remember my gf who killed the underside of her Gran Damn? Well, she told me tonight that when she gets ready for work and turns the car on it is ticking. Well since she leaves for work before I get home from my work I never hear this. Tonight I went out when the car was cold and turned it on. Sure enough the lifters are a ticking. So, recomendations? I heard that Lucas Oil treatment will fix this. Will it???

you could start by making sure it has oil pressure.
I have also heard some ATF can do wonder if it is actually gummy and not low on oil pressure. Do a search on TF or where ever, but I think they say put in a quart of ATF, run it for a little while, then change the oil. The ATF has tons of detergents that will remove all the gunk and grime, and will hopefully send it out the drain hole and into the oil filter.

Cool I will try that. I will have to check the oil pressure I dont usually drive that car so I never look at that.

NEVER EVER dump ATF into your oil!!! If you want to ruin the engine that is the best way to go. The detergents break down the oil resulting in very little or no coating of internal parts = dead engine.
Go to the auto parts store and buy an engine oil flush kit or a quart of Marvels Mystery Oil. Pour it in the crankcase and ruthe engine at idle, do not drive!. Drain and change oil

haha good lord! pony called that one right... be very careful with ATF in your motor, very very bad for your main and rod bearings...

ATF is in fact used to clean motors out, but you never run them with it in it. You take your drain plug out and throw a catch pan under it, then with a large funnel, put several quarts in quickly and let it drain out for about 20 minutes, then do it again, leaving more time between each time, so the detergents break up all the parafin deposits (don't use pennzoil or quaker state!) then you flush them out, you'll need to dump another quart of oil through before you screw the drain plug on. ATF under low tolerances and high heat has alot more friction than oil does.
