Well, my Spec II+ is trashed and it's time for a new clutch. I considering the Spec Stage III, but was wondering what else I may want to consider - perhaps a multi-frisction system....suggestions?

I have already looked at the GT 500 multi-friction set-up but it runs over $1,500...ouch!!!

    Thanks for the info!!!

DIDO - Am also going to put in a New Clutch this month and after reviewing King Cobra, Spec, Centerforce, RAM, ACT, Fidanza, Mcleod etc - I'm not sure of the best Fit - have hear some whore stories about spec, centrforce, Mcleod. Scraping, chattering, poor fit etc. I know alot has to do with driving style - I like to take it to the open road racing track a few time each year. Never Drag race it.
    Some city/highway driving.
Have heard good luck w/ King Cobra, Spec Stage 2 and 2 plus, for what I running 380hp/395 rwtq
    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Well, I have noticed Centerforce has a dual friction clutch capable of supporting up to around 650+ rwtq......anyone have experience with this system?

    Thanks again!!!

I liked the SPEC Stage II and it lasted 15k miles with the numbers in my signature. However, looking at that clutch that we just took out.....damn! all but 2 springs were disintegrated and looked like someone put the clutch in a fire for a couple of days. IMO, though, compared to other clutches, the SPEC clutch had a pretty heavy feel for the low tq rating.

I just put a spec 3+ in my cobra and I love it. With an iron fly wheel I get no chatter and now that it is broken in it grabs like no other. Also I'll add it has a very soft pedal
