Yo I herd that there are some thing you do to your mustang to make it have more power and go faster. I have a 2000 mustang and i herd that you can do something to the gas peddle and that will give 45% more throttle? How can you do that? if you know any others please post!!! Thanks
On the 99-04 Mustangs, the gas pedal sits alittle farther back than some people like, so full throttle is with the pedal being pressed into the floor pretty much, but you still go wide open throttle because the flow of air is the same. People will add a 1/2 inch nylon spacer to the back of the pedal to raise the pedal to be even with the brake pedal, making it easier to reach both. Doesn't make you go faster, doesn't make it any easier to go wide open. I have a 2000 and have checked the pedal, and tested the output voltage by the TPS sensor, it's the same, just the pedal doesn't touch the floor any more.
