I had 2 tires put on. The next day I noticed the light flashing then just staying on....Tire pressure is good. The owners manual says it is a malfunction often found after changing tires. Does anyone know what to look for, as far as the sensors or whatever is causing this problem and or, how to fix it?

Your TPMS was either damaged or needs to be recalibrated. Take the car back to the tire place and ask them to reset the TPMS monitors inside the tires and if that doesn't work, then you know they messed them up, if they were working properly before the tire change. The TPMS has a sensor located on the inside of each tires, strapped to the rim.

If they changed the tires correctly, the sensors should not be damaged.
If they are, you may have to buy new ones and the bands holding them onto the wheel. The bands are designed so that they are not reusable.
The sensors should reset in a matter of minutes of driving if they were not damaged.

Most places don't know that Fords primarily use band sensor that is strapped to the rim, they bead breaker on the tire machine can rip the band off. most likely thats what happened. If there was a hard malfunction the light would constantly flash
