got 16" wheels up front iwth 225/50/16 tires. They don't rub anything, but the insides on both tires are wearing MUCH faster than the rest of the tire and it scares me. I had the tires/wheels balanced and such when i got them, as well as the front end aligned and i have not toached the suspension since. Could it just be the guys that did the alignment (Thomas Tire) messed up and that is what is causing the wear? I've probably only got 15,000 miles at most on them, and the insides of the tires don't have much tread left, while the rest looks very fresh with lots of life left.

sounds like too much negative camber....
it's adjusted by the cam eccentrics being rotated on the LCA thus moving it in and out...
they can come out of placement quite easily, either not tight enough or bumps in the road could possibly have an effect...
UNLESS there is another problem in the ball joints or wheel bearings.... but most shops will not align a vehicle with these problems...
suspension mods, if you have them, can also have an effect...
and, yes, they might not have done a good job doing the alignment

I actually had that same problem...this was before I had it aligned again after the new suspension setup however...I don't know if it's fixed yet
