im going ot eventually get some chrome torque thrust and was needing a nice looking, but cheap tire to fit em. i definatly want a low profile tire . if i was going with a 16 inch rim, what size would i need to go good and not have alot of space in the wheel well?

i'd go into 17 inch territory for rim diameter. Then slap on some 275/40/ZR17 Kuhmo Ecsta Supra's, they're without a doubt the best bang for your buck, look great and cost half of most tire prices. If you're running a big block though, you might wanna look into skins that have a little more durability, usually costing quite a bit more. All depends on how you drive though, really.

I have 17in TT II's. I have Kumho 712's (245/45ZR17 in the front, 275/40ZR17 in the back) this gives me a nice full wheel well after lowing the car. Get the 17's or you will kick yourself later. At tirerack.com the fronts are $90 ea. and the rears are $110 ea.
