    Quick question guys...
I had an over-heating problem on my mustang...it was using all the water from the water container on a 30 min trip. I took my car to the mechanic and I he told me that my thermostat was the problem...so he took it out. Right now I don't have a thermostat, is this ok?

It'll work, but you won't have any heat and your mileage will drop noticeably. That happened to me when mine stuck open. Your CEL will probably come on with a temp sensor out of range code.

Don't run a motor without a T-Stat, you will just be hurting it more than you know. They don't cost that much and are usualy easy to replace. Make sure you get the right temp TS for you car so it will run and work better. I would research it some on installing it to make sure theres no little details you have to do or it want work right. In my car its got to be turned a certain way in the houseing or I want get water for the heater.
