I need to drain and refill the transmission on my 95 Cobra, but I can't seem to find how much fluid I need. All I know is that the GT T45 is different from mine. I think I need 6.6qts, but I'm not sure. Can anyone confirm?

The GT and Cobra T45 is the same except for the tranny mount location...

As for the capacity, you need 6.6pints, not quarts...it's a little over 3 quarts...Fill it until you can stick your pinky in the fill hole and feel the fluid...

You might be thinking of engine oil capacity that's different from the GT's, which you need a quart more than the GT's...

Yes, that is way too much fluid. For the T5, there are two plugs. The bottom is for draining, the top is for filling (obviously). The best way to do it is to fill using the top plug instead of the shifter opening. When fluid begins to drip out the fill hole, you are done. If you use the shifter opening, pull that top plug anyway to monitor your progress. As stated, it should take a little over 3 quarts. I think 3.2.
