I found a tubular k member for a fox for $100 but the problem is he's not sure of what the make is and that it has no motor mounts because it was used with a motor plate for a SBC. My question is could I just slap some motor mounts on it and drop it into a fox or will this no fit a fox with a sbf motor? I don't know much about motor plates and kmembers only installed a qa1 one before in a 91.. was thinking about picking this up and putting into my 88 but I don't have a sbc motor lol so would this work for me or am i wasting money? thanks for the help
He's going to send me a pic of it so when he does i'll post it up here but I seen the setup like six months ago when I picked up a few other parts from the guy and didn't notice any plate at all but didn't really pay any attention to it and he did say it was used with a plate setup so im assuming there's no plate.
Might as well pay the extra 150 and get a QA1 k member thats brand new and not have to worry about it.
well I decided to not go with this tubular kmember.. found some other parts that I want so if anybody wants a tubular kmember super cheap let me know i'll get you in touch with the guy. I've delt with him before he's a super nice guy who is totally honest about everything.
