Any downsides to doing that? I got 2 10 inch subs in my car and an aftermarket headunit and a 600 watt amp for the subs, no other audio stuff. I just replaced my alternator so i don't wanna ruin that or cause any other problems for the car, but i heard the gains from the pulleys are pretty decent. Any input would be appreciated

IMHO, you are not a good candidate for underdrive pullies. You should probably seek horsepower somewhere else. Good luck.

I have a 12" kicker L5 and a 450watt amp, sony headunit and door speakers to match. My alternator is somewhat new, few years on it.

I dont have a problem with my u/d pullies. I noticed a gain, small but noticeable. :nice:
