$460 in taxes....Damn that's alot of money for a 94 stang. The state is always looking for free money. Mine would have only been $200 in taxes. I ended up getting a paper filled out by the buyer stating that it was a gift, so no taxes.
Mass was like that. Now they require a form to be filled out by the seller stating that it was a gift. I have to get them from city hall. Lady at the registry said that too many people were claiming gifts for every car they get. With the new method, you can only claim I believe 3 per year.
well i havent keep them all haha i sold all of them except my last truck and my 94 then we got my 93 vert and the wifes malibu
There's alot of people that just buy cheap cars to repair and sell them for profit. In order for you to sell a car that you purchased, you have to get a new title in your name unless you have a dealers license. You have to pay the sales tax to get the title.
heres a pic of my last truck i just had to sell, couldn't fit the car seat in the back... man do i miss this truck
yea i miss that truck so bad i was hard up for cash and needed one i could fit a car seat in so i sold it for 3000. those wheels had 300 miles on them and that just cost me a grand i was dissapointed
yeah i was asking 5000 and everyone was like what kinda milage does it get and i was like 8 and they were like oh i want something that gets good gas milage...this was when it was like above 2.50 a gal around here and i got in a panic because the old lady was due in under a month so i just took whatever and that sucks!!!!
