My car was undercoated when it was new in 1991. The dealer managed to get over spray in various areas of the engine bay, etc... Any tips on how I can remove the undercoating.
I always use laquer thinner. I use it all of the time In my shop on this stuff and also on the rust proofing that Zeibart puts in the door jambs. Put it on with a rag and just rub lightly it will come right off.
Not sure that clay bar would work? I guess I should have been more descriptive. It is more like raised splaters or entire areas cover in undercoating. I think the clay bar might work in the sections that are more like "paint over spray" Thanks for the response.
