Upgrades

    I just got a 2001 v6 mustang. Its all stock except for the stereo. What are the first upgrades i should get to make it go faster and sound nicer?

    The first thing you should do is "search."

    This question is more common than a 18 second riceburner.

    Mac dual exhaust. Some people like others like flowmasters or w/e. Mac cold air intake and underdrive pulleys. First set of mods.

    Then you can go to gears, shifter, cam. Suspension work is good too. But if you're starting slow the first three are the best I think.

    If you upgrading a V8 Engine would be nice.

    If you modding, a Cold Air Kit, and Dual Exaust like said above would be good, and not too pricy.

    For future reference, when people ask what mods to do, saying "BUY A V8" is stupid and not funny. PERIOD. He just bought a 6. If he wanted/could afford an 8 he would have bought it.

    Sorry to jump on ya newb (at least to stangnet), but that ceased to be funny LONG ago.
