Anyone upgraded the "magic three" under the hood? I checked out my alternator the other day to try and locate the wire going from the alt to the battery, couldn't find it. I couldn't find the engine to ground wire either. I have already done the battery to chassis ground wire though.

I did it when I relocated the battery to the trunk...electrical seems to be running a little stronger since I did that...but it could just be that I switched from the stock battery to an Optima

Someone help this guy out. I found him at a car audio forum asking for the same advice. I can't help him as I haven't had a 3.8 in almost 10 years (I'm old and can't remember the exact setup :rolleyes )

Still helpless. I never thought upgrading the three wires would be so hard to locate. Someone told me I may have to buy a new harness from ford, as they have a bigger gauge wire than the harness on my '95 does. Other than that I don't really think there is much I can do about it.
