what should i do with it? it is a 1990 taurus gl sedan. V6 3.0. Had the word sleeper in mind for awhile then the price tag of all the parts it needs woke me up from my daydreaming.

throw a 5.0 under the hood, get some exhaust that'll make it really quiet and a Tremec 5 speed if u can. Just leave the exterior completly stock and burn em at the line.

Probably a lot more than it's worth.

I wouldn't say it's close to impossible. All depends on your skill level.
There are a couple Focus' with RWD and 5.0/5.8 conversions.

Why not look for an SHO motor and exhaust instead?

Im starting to think that puting some work into this piece wont be worth it. It has almost 160k miles on it. I'm not planning on driving this thing forever. If anything, I want to save some money and buy a 00' GT.

But if I do come into contact with some cheap parts that would do some good on her then why not.
