ok some guy want to trade me for my 5.0 coupe for his 4 cyl 90 hatch with new motor and nice body and ponys the thing is im thinking about it because my car has been wreckd and still shows it and now the tranny is messed up so what do u guys think would be best
I would hang on to the 5.0 and work out the kinks, parts are around for a good deal you just have to take your time.
so u guys think thats whats best even tho the car is wreckd as in need new quarter front bump rear bump door and front right fender and oh yea a tranny
get the 4 cyl...gut it build a carb'd high HP engine stick in a roll cage do some suspension work with a 9" rear end and call it a day. Then look for a clean 5.0 for a DD
A true 5.0 car holds alot more value than a conversion. Buy yourself a POS 4 banger with good body, and take the parts off of it, to fix yours. And there is absolutely no need for a 9' rear on a fox, and carb'ing is not good for value.
