Over the summer I noticed, after turning my stereo down once, that the seatbelt chime wouldn't stop. Anytime the key was in and the car was on, it was on. I just pulled the box with the speaker deal in it and pulled it off.
Will this thing still draw current? What would cause this? None of my lights were on and the belt being buckled made no difference.

There's a brown box right under the dash near the left of the stereo, drivers side. You push in 2 tabs and pry the box top off and the speaker is just a round piece of metal sitting on top of the chip board.
