What kind of mods can be done w/out jeopardizing the factory warrantee?
Can bolt-on mods be done NOT by dealers?

My dealer told me CAI,headers back exhaust and tune would be about it. Ask your dealer what you can do. that way if you ever take it in for work you will know what to expect..

A tune would be pushing it. I can almost guarantee that if you had an aftermarket tune on your car (not Ford approved) and the engine blew, you'd be very unlikely to have it covered under warranty.

However, if you have a tune and your radio stops working, they will not be able to void your warranty because of that (unless they have proof that the two are related). Magnuson?Moss Warranty Act - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My separate experiences with Mitsubishi and Dodge dealers says service techs will flex their "not covered under warranty" power wherever convenient. Things like cat-backs are one thing. Intake swaps, tune, or anything that can change engine reliability will put you in a gray area.

They can also play the "abuse" card if they classify you as a hot rodder and complain of a broken motor mount or something.

Become friends with the service crew. See if one of the techs is an avid Mustang fan and always request that person.

maybe this a dumb question but I'm pretty sure I saw it was ok to mod it. I changed my stock gt grille to the roush grille.

This is ok to change and still be covered under warranty right?
