Im changing waterpump on wifes 95 v6.Ive having trouble removing the bracket for the powersteering pump.Does the pump and bracket need to be removed.Ive never changed it before on this car.Any help,pointers would be helpful.Thanks
You just use a pulley puller to remove the power steering pulley, and then you can remove the black bracket. You can leave that bracket off. It's not needed. I just put a waterpump on my car and I was told the same thing.
