ok so i broke the top two studs on the waterpump and their stuck in the timing cover. questions: 1. where can i buy these stud bolts? is it dealer only? 2. i cant remeber what the stud part of the bolts hold, does anyone have a picture or know which bracket the top studs hold on to and if you need them? was thinking i could just drill the broken bolts out and use a nutt and bolt for the waterpump but that leaves whatever the studs hold without a mount.
or is there somewhere i can get smaller stud bolts if i have to drill them out? i dont feel like redoing the threads and having a problem later, if i really have to ill remove the timing cover and buy a new one which would be tedious and dumb.
If you are talking about the studs on the front of the pump, they are for the air condition bracket. If you need them try calling Latemodel Restoration Supply. They have alot of factory parts. The number is 1-866-507-3786.
