Well a few weeks back I showed you guys the new intake I got. I started putting it on this weekend. I had to start by doing some porting to the lower to match the AFR 185s. Then I paint the lower cast aluminum and polished the fuel rails. I mocked up the layout of the rest of the bay in the second pic. Let me know what you think, I always want to take more pics, but its hard when your hands are dirty and you start getting into the project. Oh yeah, and this is my buddy Kris that I always tell you guys about. I just promoted him to my Head Mechanic this weekend. lol :SNSign:
That is tight. Hope i catch you at Carlisle, so I can sneek a better look at your detail work its simply B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!
Looks bad freakin ass! The top of that intake looks like prime real estate for some Tom Clark creativity if you ask me. I spent the last 2 days workin on my own project, although it won't make more power like yours will. I won't have pics till later this week though, I'm not done with it yet.
wow.....that intake is amazing..... can i ask how much it set you back? i dont want one, but it looks very expensive!
Yep, there was no doubt in my mind that you're scheming on some detail idea's for that upper... stealing that for 400 bucks is insane....
Not only is it the cleanest engine bay I've ever seen, it's the most beautiful also. Even while you're working on it I don't see an ounce of dirt or dust anywhere. I just noticed that you still have the battery up front too which goes to show you don't need to move it to the trunk to have an awesome looking engine bay. I wanna do that when I swap my new engine in, any suggestions?
Prokiller - I haven't modified the cable or TB, just asking some questions. (Thats if you are referring to an older thread I started)
Very cool! I had my worries about a box intake, they usually look very...uh, "ungood". Is it the pics or does the intake's finish match the valve covers like I was saying a couple weeks ago? If so, NICE!
Where are all the wire harnesses that go on the passenger side firewall area behinde the strut tower (not the a/c ****)
